Music, Movement &
  Sign Language

(Newborns to 18 Months, with Adult)

Imagine your child swinging softly in a blanket or dancing with you around a maypole. Village provides a delightful environment unlike any other. Through a unique blend of multi-level activities that includes creative movement, vocal play, object and instrument exploration, and a colorful literature component, your baby’s growth and development are stimulated and all of his senses engaged.

Kindermusik Village, for children newborn to 1½ years of age, incorporates the most current research on early childhood development and provides families a special place for learning and connecting with other parents and babies through music and movement. American Sign Language will also be introduced in each lesson. [Research shows that a non-signing one year old can speak one to two words, while a signing one year old has sixteen to twenty words and twenty to twenty-five signs.] High quality, professionally created class and At Home materials include Kindermusik Foundations of Learning, insights based on current research that educate parents about their baby's unique development.  SCROLL DOWN FOR CLASS SCHEDULE

dreamPillow
zoomBuggy

Fall 2008 - Zoom Buggy explores the many ways parent and baby can zoom! Experience the vroom of a rocket ship and the swoosh of canoe oars - all through a variety of instruments and songs. Dream Pillow invites parents to sing to their baby in their own style. Class activities can easily be woven into routines at home and include delightful ideas for lulling baby to sleep, as well as upbeat, age-appropriate exploration. Each semester incorporates two units of curricula, each including a home CD, literature book, instrument, art banners, and a carry bag.

hickoryDickory rhythm

Spring 2009 - Hickory, Dickory, Tickle, and Bounce encourages baby’s language development through the rhythmic nature of childhood nursery rhymes. Using basic American Sign Language, this unit offers parents a new way to communicate with baby before she is ready to verbally talk. The Rhythm of My Day offers American Sign Language and is highlighted by the concept of a family’s daily rituals and routines. Songs and activities are designed to help baby and parent incorporate music into many of their regular routines. Each semester incorporates two units of curricula, each including a home CD, literature book, instrument, art banners, and a carry bag.

Tuition is $240 per semester (includes materials and 15 classes). There is a $100 non-refundable deposit with registration, which applies toward the tuition and materials, leaving a balance due of $140 due by the first class. Late registration is permitted, as long
as space is available.
