Confirmation – A confirmation letter will be sent to you one month before class begins. You will be contacted only if your 1st choice is not available.
Make-ups – Make-ups are available by attending another class of the same age level. Please call and leave a message indicating which class you would like to attend. I will call you if there will be too many children in class on that day.
Illness – Please do not bring a sick child to class. Make-ups are available. Please refer to class schedule for class days and times.
Closing and Bad Weather – If Grapevine/Colleyville School District closes for bad weather, we will not have class. If the school district delays classes until 10 a.m., all Kindermusik classes held at 10 a.m. or after will be held. Please listen to local radio/TV for weather closings. I will also put a recording on my voicemail (817) 481-4513, ext.200. Make-up classes will not be scheduled for bad weather days.
Food & Drink – No food, drink, gum or toys are allowed in the Kindermusik studio.
Class Time – Studio will open 5 minutes before classtime. I will open the door when I am ready to greet your child. There is a waiting area with books available outside the classroom. Please do not let your child run up and down the ramp or around the church. We need to be considerate of the church staff and sleeping pre-schoolers in the building!
Cell phones – Please turn off cell phones before entering the studio. Your child wants your full attention.
Restrooms – Please find time for your child to go to the bathroom and get a drink before class.
Specifics for individual classes:
Village Classes – Please bring a receiving blanket for your little one. Babysitting available at no charge. Reserve spot in nursery two weeks before class begins.
Imagine That Classes – If your child attends CLC and has signed up for the noon class, I will pick them up from CLC and bring them to Kindermusik. Please make sure that I and their preschool teacher know that they will be attending Kindermusik at the end of their school day. Parent will join us at 12:35 for share time.
Our Time Classes – Babysitting is available at no charge for Our Time Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday classes ONLY. Reserve a spot in nursery two weeks before class begins.
Parent meeting - A Parent meeting will be scheduled before the 1st class in the fall for Village, Our Time and Imagine That classes. It will be held on a Sunday afternoon in the Kindermusik studio. There is no childcare available for this meeting. The date will be included in your confirmation letter.
Young Child Classes - You will attend the whole 1st class with your child in the fall. Please make childcare arrangements for any siblings. This is a special time for you and your child, and will let you see what a Kindermusik class is like.
