“God has blessed me with the greatest opportunity in the world. I feel that He has placed me teaching Kindermusik so that I can share my love of God and the joy of music with children and their parents.”
“I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Music Education degree (all-level certificate). For the next few years, I taught pre-school through 8th grade music, followed by several years teaching private piano lessons.
In 1992, I opened Kindermusik of Grapevine in my home, but quickly outgrew that space. We moved the studio to First Methodist Church of Grapevine in the fall of ’96, and have been blessed with the opportunity to touch the lives of hundreds of wonderful children and their families since then. Because of this growth, our program has been named a Kindermusik Maestro studio, which is only awarded to the top 5% in the world. I have been certified to teach all levels of the Kindermusik curriculum since 1992, and maintain a Level 2 Orff certification.
Apart from my professional work with Kindermusik, I have served as a volunteer at First Methodist Church of Grapevine in various capacities, including Children’s Choir Director, and Music Coordinator for Vacation Bible School. Phil and I have been married for more than 30 years and have two married daughters, a son at Texas A&M (gig ‘em!), and one handsome young grandson.”

“In teaching Kindermusik for a number of years, I have seen so many amazing things happen with the children developmentally. I thank the Lord that I have been able to share the love and joy of music He has given me with all the children I have had the opportunity to teach.
I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Music Education degree (all-level certificate). While at UNT, I studied and taught Early Childhood Music under the tutelage of Dr. Warren Henry. I also played in the UNT Symphony.
After graduation, I taught orchestra for 3 years at a middle school in Lewisville. My students were terrific and won awards each year at UIL, but I missed working with the younger children. I started teaching Kindermusik the summer of 2003 and have enjoyed it immensely. I am certified to teach all levels of the Kindermusik curriculum.
I live in Denton with my wonderful husband, Josh, and our two sweet daughters. We are members of Denton Bible Church in Denton, Texas.”
